Mensa Bound

In my rational mind, I know that all of the new things that Drew does is just a natural part of being a growing toddler, but my mommy mind forces me to call my mom every time and say, "Drew is a genius!!! Guess what he can do now?"
So indulge me if you will in the top 5 reasons Drew is super smart:

1.) He knows the difference between a cat, dog, bird and a frog.  Because we read a book (daily :) with a frog in it and the frog sticks out his tongue, that is what he does to mimic a frog.  See this video to know what I mean.

2.) He doesn't love to take a bath, but if you ask him to take a bath with bubbles, he will run to the tub and rush to get in saying, "Baubau" or something like that.

3.) He knows the difference between brushing your hair and brushing your teeth (as in, Drew, brush your hair/teeth) and can do both, although not too well :)

4.) If I give him a thermometer and ask him to take his temperature, he will stick the thermometer in one ear and then in the other ear because he knows I always take it in both sides.

5.) The other day he got hold of a napkin and ripped it up to little pieces, and tried to put a little piece in each ear because he knows we put cotton or a blocker in his ears to take a bath and he was imitating that.

I just wanted to post these super cute things to remember them always.  We are also making progress on the sports end as he can throw a ball overhand and he knows how to put the ball (and everything else:) in the basketball goal he got for Christmas.  He also knows the signal for touchdown although he did get confused this year when we would say "Touchdown Drew!" and meant Drew Brees, but he will figure it out eventually ;)

Stryker was mesmerized by the video of Drew. Very cute!

I think all parents have to think their kids are prodigies. It would be sad if we didn't.
